Data Sources, Methodology & Limitations

Raen Analytics aggregates publicly available portfolio data sourced from official AMC (Asset Management Company) websites and SEBI-mandated monthly disclosures. The data represents month-end snapshots, not real-time positions. Derived metrics (flows, entries, exits, scores) are computed estimates that may be affected by corporate actions (splits, mergers, ISIN changes), disclosure timing differences, and uneven coverage windows across AMCs. While we take all reasonable care to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, we make no express or implied warranties regarding the reliability or correctness of such data, and errors, omissions, or delays may occur. Raen Analytics shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from reliance on the information displayed on this platform. Users are strongly advised to independently verify all data against official AMC and SEBI filings before acting upon it.

• Source: Official AMC Website Disclosures (SEBI-mandated), collected as Excel / PDF portfolio statements. Pipeline runs Daily at 2:00 AM IST.
• Snapshot data, not real-time: AMC portfolio disclosures are month-end (or, for a small number of AMCs, weekly) snapshots. Positions may have changed materially between the disclosure date and the date you view them.
• Uneven coverage windows: Different AMCs have different historical depth in our database. Metrics that compare AMCs (participation counts, breadth, flows) are computed only over AMCs with data in the relevant periods, but comparisons across long horizons can still reflect coverage differences rather than genuine behaviour.
• Corporate actions: Stock splits, mergers, demergers, and ISIN changes can appear as exits and fresh entries in raw disclosure data. We maintain a reviewed mapping to reduce such artefacts, but some may remain.
• Derived metrics are estimates: Flows, entries/exits, buying/selling scores, and similar figures are computed estimates derived from disclosed holdings — not actual trade records. Actual transaction prices, timing, and intent are unknown.
• Exclusions: Debt-oriented and certain other fund categories (Liquid Funds, Arbitrage Funds, Overnight Funds, Money Market Funds, and others) are excluded from equity analytics to avoid distortion.
